Tignes - Sunday 25th January 2004
A very successful skiing holiday in
Tignes this year, but rather cold and snowy at the beginning of the
week.
Arrived early afternoon on Sunday
with time for 1½ hours of "warm-up" skiing in reasonable weather.
Monday - cloudy and snowing, but enjoyable skiing guided by Baz.
Tuesday - Ski guiding by Richard to Val d'Isere and surrounding area.
Wednesday - More adventurous ski guiding by Richard down "Le Face" to
Va d'Isere and on to Le Fornet for lunch.
Thursday - White Out in the morning with local skiing in the afternoon.
Friday - Brilliant sunny weather with skiing to everywhere in the Espace Killy
ski area. Bowling in the evening.
Saturday - Another brilliant skiing day with a Picnic Lunch at Tignes.
Sunday - Early start for the transfer to Lyon Airport and the journey back to
Manchester.
